Green Water Technologies | Better Than Water

Green Water Technologies

Water is undoubtedly the healthiest possible drink you can ingest. However, there are many people that simply don’t like the taste, or lack thereof. Fortunately, according to Green Water Technologies, these folks have plenty of options.

Lemon water, for example, is just as hydrating and, when made with a pinch of salt boosts hydration and vitamin C levels. Green Water Technologies also asserts that milk is great for countering the side effects of dehydration. Not only does it have a great balance of sodium, carbohydrates, and protein, but it’s easy to flavor and is rather refreshing when cold.

Those with a taste for the exotic can enjoy coconut water. According to Green Water Technologies, this is a natural energizer that packs a much healthier punch than energy drinks. Juiced cucumbers are another great option, and, when combined with beetroot juice, works as a blood purifier. Cucumbers, which are considered a vegetable, have less sugar than natural fruits, meaning they are less likely to cause a spike in blood sugar levels.

Green Water Technologies notes that those who prefer to drink coffee over water may find the same comforting warmth with herbal teas. Hibiscus or chamomile are great examples that are as delicious as they are hydrating. As an added bonus, caffeine-free herbal teas can help soothe nerves and relax an overactive mind.

A relative newcomer to the world of readily-available drinks is chia water. Chia seeds or basil seeds are water retentive and work to naturally infuse plain water. You can use these in milk and add a teaspoon of honey for a sweet treat to enjoy during the summer.

Green Water Technologies explains that water, while exponentially crucial to human functioning, does not have to be boring to be effective. If you don’t like it, add some fruit or look for other ways to get your intake of H2O.
